Course Description:
Our first semester Intro to Christian Psychology course covered perception, communication and how to solve conflict in a healthy way, as well as basic psych terms & meanings. We will pick up where we left off, tackling emotions-what they are and how to control them, study effective communication methods, and bridging language barriers.
IF YOU DID NOT TAKE SEMESTER ONE, you can STILL join us! I will quickly catch you up, & you will still benefit from learning Christian Psychology.
The Bible says God knit us together in our mothers’ wombs. We can use the teachings of Jesus to better understand the human mind and behaviors. Isn’t that fabulous?
Having taken (& greatly enjoyed) multiple college psychology courses, I am thrilled to share the gold from what I’ve learned with my students!
Using the book “Looking Out, Looking In” (13th edition), by Ronald B. Adler & Russel F. Proctor, we will continue to learn together, developing a solid psychology base, and preparing you for college level psych courses.
There will be reading outside of class time, as class will be reserved for discussion, short quizzes, games, & activities. We will have fun assignments, without any heavy writing! You will learn a TON in this class, but will not be overloaded with busy work. We’ll also have a lot of fun together!
