THIS CLASS IS NOW FULL.
Join me this school year as we explore two of Shakespeare’s plays, reading slowly through them and performing small sections. Love’s Labours Lost, the delightful tale of what occurs when a King and his companions decide to eschew the company of females in order to devote themselves to study, will be our selection during the fall semester. Henry V, grand saga of battles and monarchy, will be the Spring Semester selection.
The first several weeks of each semester will consist of reading the play “Round Robin” style, becoming familiar with the language and plot. During this time each student will choose a brief portion of the play to be performed via the medium of their choice.
The remaining weeks will be devoted to rehearsing and performing a single act from each play.
