Course Description:
In this course, students will learn how to identify trees of the Eastern and Midwestern forests. They will learn both the common and latin names of these trees. We will learn about plant morphology, specifically in regard to the leaves, flowers, and fruit. We will discuss plant hardiness and other cultural considerations as well. This course will help to build a foundation for the student to grow and continue to expand their horticultural knowledge.
